Project Partner Meeting Seville 2011
Project partner meeting held in Seville, Spain from 31 March to 1 April 2011
Project partners from France, Ireland, Portugal, Scotland and Spain met in Seville to discuss progress on the project implementation to date and to share proposed pilot initiatives for implementation in each partner region. The Mid West Regional Authority is working with North Tipperary County Council to develop pilot initiatives in the area of arts development that promote community support and participation.
Seville Chamber of Commerce hosted the meeting on 31 March and also organised a study visit on 1 April to the technological innovation centre for entertainment (currently under construction) as well as an SME incubator. The next project meeting will take place in the Mid West Region of Ireland from 21-22 June.”
The Designated Manager to the Mid West Regional Authority, Mr Edmond Gleeson and the Director of the Mid West Regional Authority, Mr Liam Conneally availed of this project meeting to meet with meet and exchange with Seville partners. Meetings were held in the margins of the project meeting with the Seville Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Shipping of Seville, the Tourism Consortium for Seville and the Urban Agency for Economic Development of Seville.”
